Scrimmy runs the schedule, scores and sign-up for volleyball leagues. It sends a small number of texts, all of them to people who asked.
Sign-in codes to league managers. A six-digit code, when you ask for it, so you can sign in without a password.
League notices to team captains: a reminder before a match, a reminder to enter a score after one, and messages from the league's manager about the season. A few texts a week during a season, none outside it.
Pick-up and tournament notices, when those launch: a text when a pick-up game you asked about is on, and when your next tournament match is up. Only to people who sign up for them.
Managers. Your league's owner adds your phone number to the manager list. Nothing is sent until you go to the sign-in page, type your number and tap Sign in, which asks for a code.
Captains. When you register a team you give a phone number and tick the box agreeing to texts from Scrimmy about your league. You can register without it; you just won't get the texts.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by league.
Reply STOP to any text and you won't get another from Scrimmy, sign-in codes included, until you reply START. Reply HELP and you'll get a text back saying how to reach us, or write to michael@scrimmy.app. Your league's manager can also take your number off the list.
Your phone number is stored so we can send you these texts and, for managers, sign you in. It is not sold, shared with anyone outside your league, or used for anything else. Your league's owner can remove it at any time, and removing it ends your sign-in.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
